Linguistic Diversity, Language Rights: The Power of Being Understood
Language is more than a means of communication. It carries identity, culture, experiences and the voices of communities.
In an increasingly interconnected world, translation plays an important role in ensuring that people can understand and be understood, regardless of the language they speak.
Translators and interpreters help open doors to knowledge, information and communication across linguistic and cultural boundaries.
On International Translation Day 2026, the Malaysian Translators Association (PPM) celebrates translators, interpreters and language professionals who continue to build bridges between languages and cultures.
Because when language is understood, we move closer to understanding one another. 🌏
