Translation Services Bureau (BKT)
The Translation Services Bureau (BKT) plays a role that is one of the core foundations of its establishment. Before PPM was established in 1979, the Translation Division (BT) of DBP, which existed under DBP (1956), had played a role in translating knowledge books in particular as its true duty and responsibility.
In addition, BT was also tasked with translating documents, pamphlets and government printed materials, reviewing, editing and certifying translations, including from the public and private sectors. Starting in 1979, PPM was established at DBP under its auspices and these tasks were handed over to PPM, except for the core tasks which were increasing rapidly.
PPM offers various services related to bilingual activities, and our translators, interpreters and editors consist of those who are trained and recognized. They have qualifications, skills, expertise and experience in their respective fields and disciplines as well as language mastery, and are capable of producing high-quality work on time.

Document Verification
Certification and Verification of Translation
PPM, which is a member of FIT (International Federation of Translators) and is under the auspices of Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), is authorized and recognized by the government under the relevant Ministries such as the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KLN), Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Human Resources, Embassies and Foreign Missions and others.
Certified and endorsed translations are necessary for official use such as for migration, overseas studies, study permit applications, work permit applications, visa applications, MM2H (Malaysia My Second Home) applications and others. PPM also uses its authority to certify translations by PPM members and registered private companies that produce translations, which are reviewed first, for official use.
