Translation
Translation Service Bureau (TSB)
Translation Services Bureau (TSB) plays a role which is one of the core of its establishment. Before MTA was established in 1979, the DBP Translation Division (TD) which existed under DBP (1956) had played the role of translating, especially the book of knowledge as its actual duty and responsibility. In addition, TD is also tasked with translating government documents, pamphlets and printed materials, reviewing, editing and verifying translations, including from the public and private sectors. Beginning in 1979, MTA was established at DBP under its auspices and the task was handed over to MTA, except for the actual task which was increasing rapidly.
MTA offers a wide range of services related to bilingual activities, and our translators, interpreters and editors are trained, and recognized. They have the qualifications, skills, expertise and experience in their respective fields and disciplines and language proficiency, and are able to produce high quality and timely work.

Document Verification
Translation Certification and Verification
MTA which is a member of FIT (International Federation of Translators) and sponsored by Dewan Bahasa dan Pustaka (DBP), is authorized and recognized by the government under the relevant Ministries such as Ministry of Foreign Affairs (KLN), Ministry of Home Affairs (KDN), Ministry of Domestic Trade and Consumer Affairs (KPDNHEP), Ministry of International Trade and Industry (MITI), Ministry of Finance, Ministry of Health, Ministry of Human Resources, Embassies and Overseas Missions and others.
Certified and endorsed translations are necessary for official use such as for migration, study abroad, study permit application, work permit application, visa application, MM2H (Malaysia My Second Home) application and others. MTA also uses its jurisdiction to certify translations by MTA members and registered private companies that produce translations, which are pre-reviewed, for official use.
